Bodied – The Official Trailer – Produced by Eminem

Singer and Rapper, Eminem is headed back to the big screen.

As producer of the upcoming battle rap movie "Bodied", which offers a hilarious look inside the competitive world of rap battles. Berkeley graduate student Adam Merkin (Calum Worthy) becomes an unlikely battle rapper after meeting veteran battle rapper Behn Grym (Jackie Strong) and accidentally winning his first competition. On the road to victory, he ends up alienating his friends, girlfriend, and father.

As Directed by Joseph Kahn, who’s helmed music videos for Eminem, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Lopez, the R-rated film also stars Debra Wilson, Dumbfoundead, Anthony Michael Hall, Rory Uphold, and Charlamagne Tha God.

The comedy-drama has been well received by critics so far. RogerEbert.com said it “offers an entertaining window into a culture that most people probably know very little about,” while The Globe and Mail called it “an outrageous and outrageously entertaining treatise on cultural sensitivity.”
